Important News from K Frank Opticians

As a valued patient, you will have received a letter recently explaining the plans for the practice. In summary, we have taken the difficult decision to close K Frank Opticians on the 30th September 2019. The reason is we are upgrading our sister practice Jenks-Burgess (JB) Opticians in Whaley Bridge. This will enable us to offer better and more diverse eye care services, and possibly even more things in the future! All existing patients will automatically be moved to the new practice and we will contact you in the normal way when your sight test is due.

For any patient wanting to book an appointment after 30th September, please call JB on 01663 733861 and state you are an Offerton patient.

JB Opticians is less than 10 miles from the Offerton practice and very easy to get to. There is a large free carpark in Whaley Bridge and also good public transport services from Stockport. The 199 bus passes the practice and it is also opposite Whaley Bridge Railway Station.

We have been part of the Offerton community for over 26 years and have not taken this decision lightly. We recognise this does cause inconvenience for some patients and we really hope you understand the reasons why we are doing this. Ultimately, we want to continue to provide first class eye care, and this reorganisation will ensure we are able to carry on doing so.
